Obituaries
Onalea H. Kelley
PAINTED POST | Kelley; Onalea H. Age 92 of Meads Creek Rd., Painted Post NY, passed away Saturday January 17, 2004 at Corning Hospital. Onalea was born February 3, 1911 in Painted Post NY, daughter of George and Grace Hoyt Husted. Upon graduation from high school, she continued her education to become a teacher. After teaching for a short time, she became a full time wife and mother, making a loving home for her family. She attended Curtis Baptist Church.
Surviving Onalea are her grandchildren: Stephen (Amy) Doud of Elmira Heights NY,
Holly Doud of Wellsboro PA, Scott (Kerry) Doud of Glenside PA; great grandchildren: Mackenna, Kelly, and Jason Doud, along with several brothers in law and sisters in law.
She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Harold Kelley in May of 1993, and a daughter Sharon Doud in March of 2001.
Friends are invited to call at Carpenter's Funeral Home 14 E. Pulteney St. on Tuesday January 20 from 1 to 2 PM. The funeral and committal will be at the conclusion of the visitation (2 PM). The interment will be in Coopers Cemetery, Coopers Plains NY.
